New Orleans
March 2020 saw the USA announce its first steps toward a nationwide lockdown to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
Stories filled the news of how the worst affected had been the poorer communities of African Americans and ethnic minorities.
Although New Orleans - a city no stranger to tragedy and turmoil - has seen some of the worst cases of Coronavirus in the USA, people have also found hope, kindness, love and a new sense of community and family life.
As a seasoned New Orleanian, spending the last 10 years capturing this historic city of soul with a nostalgic view, and unable to return to my family in England, UK, I felt compelled to capture what lockdown and social distancing really meant for the people in my neighbourhood.
